In-Home Feeding & Swallowing Evaluation

Service Description

This 90-minute initial feeding & swallowing evaluation includes a thorough case history review and evaluation of your child's oral motor structures and function prior to feeding observation. Observation and assessment of a feeding session focusing on oropharyngeal skills and sensory skills when eating various foods and liquids. Based on reason for evaluation, individualized support for concerns and findings provided during session. Following the evaluation, a care plan is provided with findings and recommendations. The evaluation fee includes travel within 15 miles of Long Beach (90808). For travel within 15-20 miles of Long Beach, an additional travel fee of $50 is required by the client.
