Prenatal Breastfeeding: The Basics

This class is tailored to teach expectant mothers and their support person the foundational skills to begin their breastfeeding journey. It is recommended that this two hour interactive class be taken during the third trimester of pregnancy. The topics covered in class include the benefits of breastfeeding, anatomy/physiology, positioning/latching techniques, stages of lactation, nutrition during lactation, how to know your baby is getting enough, and resources available.
